MY INCREDIBLE JOUNREY
I am a breast cancer survivor and my mission in life is to walk to the ends of the earth or even coast to coast to help raise funds to find a cure so that my daughters and granddaughters don't have to go through what my mom,my cousin and aunt and I have gone through.It's an incredible feeling to know you helped someone else survive the same disease you had. Last year I did the Avon 3-day, other than surviving cancer, it was the most incredible thing I did. The more people told me I was crazy the more I trained and the more I want to do this. I walked all sixty miles with no problem at all, not a blister, just some tired legs and I raise all the money I needed and gave some away to others who did't. You have not experienced anything until you've done a 3day walk. My cousin just did the San Deigo walk for me, she said, and a lady from here work came up to her after the walk and asked her if she walked and she said yes, she gave her a hug and told her she just got diagnosed with breast cancer, you did it for me, thanks. I asked her would she do it again? Shes doing it again in October in LA. with me and 9 other friends I inspired. I plan to do two or more walks a year for as long as I can walk. Avon 3Days' mission is to fund access to care and find a cure for breast cancer. I heard theres strength in numbers. With teamwork the dream of finding a cure can work. Together we can do the impossible. I'll do the walking you do the sponsoring and together we can make it work.
